Rockport Shoes affiliate program eclipsed $4.4 million in revenue after exiting bankruptcy under Jonathan Detore's affiliate management

Premium Shoe Brand Breaks Affiliate Revenue Record

Upon coming out of bankruptcy in 2018, Jonathan Detore was directly responsible for the success of a premium shoe brand looking to get back on their feet. Taking on the account in 2019, the brand showed a 23% growth comparing 2020 to 2019 data, recording $4.4 million in revenue compared to $3.6 million the previous year. This includes a reduction in Cost of Marketing of 2.6% and 10% increase in conversion rate. This was achieved through renegotiating current partner relationships, finding aggressive optimization opportunities, and negotiating placements to efficiently sell older inventory to make room for new inventory. This not only grew a struggling brand’s revenue in a more cost effective way, but we also leveraged the affiliate channel to help with inventory management through direct B2C sales rather than the brand leaning on wholesale tactics that reduce overall profitability.

Perk Fitness Affiliate Program launched successfully under Jonathan Detore's affiliate management

Fitness App Launches to Major Success

A premium fitness app launched under Jon Detore’s management showed significant sign ups upon launching their affiliate program under his management. Starting from scratch, the brand’s goal was to secure approximately 100 confirmed paid sales (excluding sign ups) through affiliate in the first 6 months of launch. After launching in late January 2023, the brand gained 115 paid subscribers for a recurring revenue of $21k/month indefinitely at a ROAS of $14.54, far above the industry average of around $9 ROAS. This was generated through utilizing content partners through sub-affiliate networks like Skimlinks and Digidip, finding unique content opportunities through publications like Men’s Health and The Daily Beast, and offering performance based bonuses to high performing publishers to generate more exposure for the brand during this critical launch.

Atlassian B2B SaaS Affiliate Program succeeded by dropping CPS from $150 to $62 under Jonathan Detore's affiliate management

B2B SaaS Client on a Fixed Budget Exceeds CPS Goals

A premium B2B SaaS client that specializes in project management software tasked Jon with driving new to file sales on a consistent basis with a fixed quarterly budget of $140,000 with little room to stray from that budget constraint. Partnering with top content and recommendation partners in the tech and SaaS space allowed us to take a unique bid-based approach to ranking the brand on various assets. Through this, we were able to increase overall paid sign ups for the brand with a CPS of $61.50, down from the brand’s goal of $150. This showed incredible savings for the brand, and allowed us to expand our partnerships into new assets to target new audiences on partner sites like Software Testing Help, Guru 99, Technology Advice, and more. This not just met the goal of the brand, but exceeded their expectations by reducing costs for the channel significantly while maintaining consistently growing new to file sign ups.

Shudder Streaming Affiliate Program exited a COVID slump under Jonathan Detore's affiliate management

Leading Streaming Service Gets a COVID Booster

A horror specific streaming service under a major streaming network leveraged our founder’s experience to navigate through the unfamiliar terrain that COVID wrought on the economy. With so much competition as people stayed indoors, it was our job to ensure we captured a large part of that market share to stay relevant and not get left behind in the surge of streaming signups the industry saw overall. By shifting our strategy to a more content-based approach allowed us to utilize the affiliate channel as more of a PR arm for the brand, securing Buzzfeed, Vox, Rotten Tomatoes, and more as solidified partners in the program, pushing new release information during COVID and beyond. This strategy allowed the brand to significantly increase sign ups and retention and just a $10 CPA with a 7 Day Free Trial.

Reef Sandals Affiliate Program increase 86% in revenue under Jonathan Detore's affiliate management

Beachwear up 86% in Revenue in One Year!

A large beachwear and sandal brand generated $1.2 million in sales during the summer of 2020. The following year, Jonathan drove the company out of a COVID slump and generated an 86% increase in overall revenue, eclipsing $2 million through the affiliate channel for the first time in the program’s history. The primary driver of this success was expanding the pool of sales active publishers to include more industry leaders, with 76 total sales active partners driving revenue throughout the year, a 12% increase YoY. This is on a 58% increase in orders generated, with AOV rising 18% through strategic affiliate only promotions helping increase cart values to clear out inventory while keeping revenue high to make way for new styles and collaborations. This is another example of leveraging affiliate to not just generate sales, but also utilizing the channel to help with inventory management.
